I have some really bad news to pass on. Bryan fielder was killed in a motorcycle
accident on 6/8/08 in Lafayette La. He had just moved there a week earlier to start a new life.
He really liked the Laidack, spoke highly of Rodney, Bobby, and Carlos and how they made him
feel welcome even though he was there only the one time.
He wanted to come back for the Ralley and he and I were looking forward to seeing everyone
Bryan was like a brother and a son to me and I'm glad you had the honor and privilage to meet him.

JON SNIDER, ASHLAND,KY - Sunday, April 20, 2008 10:26 PM
I really enjoyed the band "Straight Eight" this past week end. Anyone who missed them needs to get up and see them next weekend (April 25/26, 2008).
I highly recommend anyone who has not been Layin' Out @ the Laidback in a while to get their selves in there. The food, The atmosphere and, the cold drinks are an excellent way to wind down after the daily grind.
Joshua Maggard, Franklin Furnace, Ohio - Tuesday, April 15, 2008 4:32 PM

Hello from the River Queen Saloon in Baytown, Texas. A customer of mine came
in wearing your T-shirt. His name is Rubin, or nickname Rue Rue. He travels all
around the world working construction and when he is in your town he comes to your place.
He met a customer of yours, Pocahonta. He calls her Cherokee. I want to send her a
River Queen T-Shirt and I would like to have one from your bar, size Large.
Since Rubin won't be back to your place till April, I thought you might like to
check out our web: Riverqueensaloon.com
Hope to hear from you, your place looks alot like mine..........

and he was certainly right. It was nice to know that we had a place to stay for the night on our trip back

come and stay when you have one of your Rallys. Thanks again.

Rodney. You're doing a great job. You are maintaining the original Laidback atmosphere while adding your own very nice improvements.
I've always been proud of The Laidback and that has not changed since you took over. Your hard work, enthusiasm and personality adds to the great place that it is.
I'm proud to have you as the new owner of The Laidback Bar & Grill. Good luck my friend.
